Spring at last!
It was nearly 80 today, with perfect blue skies. What a difference a week makes! I got the front flower beds cleared out, the tulips are still going nuts. The magnolia tree also:
Miki started bellowing to go out as soon as the sun came up! Beamer cried at the back door while we were in the back yard, but stuck to the porch, and cried to get right back in. No tree climbing so far- guess he'll have to remember how much fun being outside is!

No one is more surpised than us, believe me. Up until Thursday is was still very cold, and last weekend it kept hailing!

my kitties went out today too (well, one goes out every day)... but traffic scared them, and it was about 95 outside, so they came back in after a few min.
I started buying the "90% dead" plants from HomeDepot (usually 50cents or $1 a plant). If they died completely, I didn't feel bad. But I actually managed to recover more that 50% of those I bought (in fact, one is taking over my back yard).
